KurtCan Gage Systems
Kurt's single station can gage system has a measurement cycle time of 10 seconds or less and measures multiple can sizes with resolution to 10 millionths. The KurtCan Gage system provides continuous wall thickness measurements while the can is rotated against the measuring heads. It captures up to 1000 readings per second.
Other systems include the capability to measure: trim height and dome depth, trim height in multiple locations at one time, flange height and neck plug, finished can height, flange width and neck plug diameter. Can rotation meaurements provide neck plug roundness and maximum/minimum readings on the height and width.
